Transvaginal transducers, also known as transvaginal ultrasound probes or transvaginal probes, are a medical device used to perform ultrasound imaging of the pelvic organs. They are designed to be inserted into the vagina to obtain detailed images of the uterus, ovaries, cervix, and surrounding structures. All transducer covers are individually packed and sterile and non-sterile options are available. The use of transrectal transducers typically requires two different covers. One of these is a sanitary cover, the other is a water stand-off cover for near-field visualization.
